This appears to be the first record of the genus Coptera in Australia, unless anyone has a previous one? https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/109500586
It's a bit weird that the first occurrences have shown up this year in three widely separated areas in Melbourne.
Unless there are a bunch misidentified elsewhere because "Coptera doesn't occur in Australia".
Don't think there's a lot of misidentifications as I've been through almost all diapriid obs.
The pattern may be a combination of factors: distribution of recorders, a recent introduction (?), climate preference, host distribution.
