Might be the B. rufocinctus we saw, hard to be sure.

Has small pale blaze in center of face.

Ant, probably with a Snowberry bee. This was in the bees nesting area.

Other bees were nesting among the snowberry bees. Grass photo shows wider view of area.

There were two different sizes of bees and their tunnels in this area.

Might be the perdita. There were a lot of them in the area.

Males in Ocean Spray.

Cropping made this blurry, but maybe someone in group remembers which bee this was?

Garden, east hillside. Might be on cilantro?

Rufocinctus? In Xeric garden.

Brown crescent like b. griseocollis, but whider thorax like a B. rufocintus (don't know if they have this color morph).

Dried out, sunny spot.

Legs spread, ready to catch prey.

Reminds me of columbine leaves. Drying out.

2nd day watching Snowberry bees fly over nests. There were so many bees flying around less than a foot from the ground. They completely ignored us.

Tumble beetles on yarrow.

For the round beetles that aren't the tumble beetles.

At nature area, with small lake. End of the day side trip.

Non-native? Growing in nature area.

Seeds formed, leaves drying out.
