Getting ready for City Nature Challenge 2024!

Hello!
We are so looking forward to City Nature Challenge 2024! To help prepare you, and to help you to get others involved, we've posted flyers, events and "how to" resources on our main City Nature Challenge pages:

https://www.zoo.org/conservation/naturechallenge
https://www.pdza.org/event/city-nature-challenge/
https://www.nwtrek.org/event/city-nature-challenge/

Our first virtual orientation is coming up on Thursday, February 15 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. (for educators and group leaders) and there is another scheduled for Tuesday, April 23 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. (for individuals and families). The virtual orientations are posted on this page and the in-person events will be soon too! https://www.zoo.org/conservation/naturechallenge/events

We hope to see you out and about in nature over the City Nature Challenge observation period (from the wee hours of the morning of Friday, April 26 to the stroke of midnight on the night of Monday, April 29!). And remember to come back here to help others identify their finds - you can add identifications up to the end of Sunday, May 5. Results will be announced on Monday, May 6!

Your Seattle-Tacoma CNC organizing committee - Woodland Park Zoo, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, Seattle Parks and Recreation, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife's Habitat at Home Program, Green Tukwila / City of Tukwila, The Nature Conservancy in Washington, Washington Invasive Species Council, Washington State Department of Agriculture Pest Program.
