Plants growing on private forestry land near Scheelite Creek. Off Northbank Road, Marlborough.

A strange one. Sparse black fruit. Looks like a hybrid? There is C. tenuicaulis, C. areolata and C. propinqua around here.

Locally common in subalpine scrub.

Common on damp track margins.

On the edge of alpine herb/tussock field. Not far above treeline.

Common alpine herb forming large patches, often on edges of scree slopes.
