Coyote brush is very beautiful when it's fruiting and flowering. I've never seen so many native insects on one plant
It hurts me so much when I see people cutting these down to plant horrible non-native landscaping plants. Or just mowing them and calling them weeds
This branch was split where it meets the main stem (I believe by somebody goose hunting), but the flowers on the damaged branch seemed to mature as quickly as possible.
