What is this curious liverwort? It seems to have rhizomes with rhizoids… Haplomitria doesn’t have rhizoids… it also seems to have creeping axes… lovely disc shaped gemmae. Growing in what first appeared to be an algae mat… turns out to look more like it is soil held together with this plants rhizoids…
