On November 30th, I will be leaving Inaturalist for a long time. I am going to school in Utah, so I will not be on it. I will miss the whole community on here.

Ganoderma sessile is one of the most observed taxa on Inat, if not the most that has no common name. Me and @bouteloua were discussing this idea when @giacomolungo came up with the name Gnome Stairs. I came up with the common name of Northeastern Reishi, and @bouteloua came up with the name Strawberry Pancakes. This mushroom has almost 3,000 observations on Inaturalist, and is native to the Eastern United States and a few other outlying places. I was wondering if there could be some common name in place for this species. I was wondering if anyone else knows of a common name for this species, or has any ideas for one. Any thoughts @sigridjakob @johnplischke ?
