Amateur naturalist, more recently trying my hand at fungi ID. Usually only down to order, family, or class. Im only familiar enough with a few right down to species locally at this point. But I figure it’s still useful to narrow down to class/family/order to make it easier for experts on here to find their specialty so they can narrow it down further. And if I make a mistake the nice thing about iNaturalist is that it’s ongoingly fluid with IDing.
