My spouse and I left the city for West Kootenay, BC more than 10 years ago. Today, we live in a solar-powered straw bale home on a small acreage, growing much of our own food using regenerative and permaculture farming practices. We hope to leave the land we inhabit more resilient and abundantly productive for future generations. The iNaturalist Community is a huge help in my effort learn more about our spectacular natural environment.
