I'm an amateur in the true sense of the word with no formal botanical knowledge but a love for nature and especially the plant species of the Hottentots Holland and Kogelberg areas. Being a member of CREW (Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers) has brought me into contact with many like-minded people from whom I learn constantly. I'm also a keen photographer and uploading observations to iNat is not only a great tool for identifying species, but also a way to document species which may be lost in future.
