I'm a molecular biologist now specializing in developing, curating, and maintaining genome databases for model organisms. My specialty is in the molecular biology and genomics of the model organism roundworm nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. I work for the WormBase database (www.wormbase.org) and more recently for the consortium The Alliance of Genome Resources (www.alliancegenome.org). I enjoy looking for new and interesting wild life on my nature walks throughout Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
