I like exploring CA nature areas. This app is a convenient way to help document nature sightings and provide useful data for conservation efforts. I am self educated on California wildlife with main interests in plants and Lepidoptera. Those are also some of the easiest to photograph without major camera equipment. Active in conservation volunteering and organic pollinator gardening. Formally educated in engineering and business but not in the life sciences. ~Chris.
