I'm an amateur naturalist with a special interest in birds and plants. I grew up on the West Coast and started learning about the natural world as a homeschooler back in the 90s.

I recently completed a Classics degree at Uvic. I like comparing with Ancient Greece with the Mediterranean climate of Victoria.

I like iNaturalist because it's a great way to check my IDs and interact with the broader community.
