I am retired after 30 years as the botanist at the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in N.E. Alaska. I worked on many projects, mainly plant community composition monitoring, tundra vegetation disturbance and recovery, and land-cover mapping and change detection using satellite imagery and aerial photos.
