I am new to iNaturalist and became involved when a bio-blitz happened in my town. I’m now obsessed with finding new species and posting on iNaturalist. I’ve always been interested in nature and was finally able to acquire my own small forest that is absolutely teaming with every form of nature possible. I track the inhabitants of vernal pools, the birds that live in my trees and migrate past, and the animals that call my home, theirs. I’ve found my own heaven and want to share with others, the inhabitants who share my space. I find it absolutely amazing that so many species can coexist together. iNaturalist is the perfect place for me to document what I’ve seen/experienced and to track the species who also call my forest their home. I’m a temporary steward to this piece of land, and I am constantly humbled knowing that this forest will continue to thrive long after me.
