I'm a journalist and photographer for publications such as the Twin Cities Star Tribune, USA Today and Midwest Living, specializing in travel destinations. But I'm happiest when work or play get me out into nature.

I'm also a teaching artist, an avid creator of nature journals, and a longtime gardener based in Central Minnesota.
