I earned a degree in Ecology in 2008. I've worked on field studies of grounds eating birds in Oklahoma, and have been a licenced bird bander since 2006. Currently, I'm mostly homebound due to health issues, so I watch birds at my feeders and look for plants on the neighbor's undeveloped property. I also putter around in my garden and little greenhouse. My current projects include trying to work with native trees and shrubs as bonsai specimens. I currently live in Benton County, Washington State, USA.
