I've been a fan of the outdoors since childhood, introduced to the wonders of nature by my parents. My main interest is birds and being outdoors in nature. I studied Parks and Recreation Management at Lincoln University, planning to be a Park Ranger. Life had other ideas. I try to go birding everyday, and use eBird and Merlin apps - they are indispensable. I'm finding iNaturalistNZ to be the perfect addition.
