I am retired pediatrician with an endless curiosity about the natural world. I have some knowledge about the natural world—mostly gathered as a child & adolescent while pouring over my many, diverse, dog-eared Golden Nature Guide Books. Currently, my living room window opens up on a Vermont lake that has a cornucopia of native plants and animals. There is so much more I want to learn about the ever-fascinating, ever-changing world outside my window. iNaturalist helps make that happen while making it fun and interesting along the way.
