Independence Day of Ukraine: The project in progress!
Observations in Ukraine will finish in 10 minutes, so let's briefly summarise the progress of this day.
We have 350 members, and > 4700 observations. Nevertheless, this is still possible to join us (if your observations are done by August 24 2022): https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/independence-day-of-ukraine-2022. If possible, please contribute by helping with identification.
PS: my dear Ukranians, it was a difficult day, you know about Chaplyne railway station. Be strong and care for yourself and your relatives. Thank you all for your participation!

Kia kaha Ukraine, from Aotearoa New Zealand. It is heartbreaking to see what you're having to endure, but your courage and resolve are a beacon of hope for the world.
It is so heartbreaking to hear the ongoing news about Ukraine. I was glad to participate in this bioblitz and spend some time today thinking of the people of Ukraine. I hope they will celebrate many more Independence Days in the years ahead. Stay Strong, Ukraine! I think of you every time I see a sunflower.
Thank you so much for creating this project. I participated as much as I could and spread the news about it and why I was doing it. My thoughts were with you all day.
