Eagle was sitting in pine by lakeshore for some time, and eventually nearby Herring Gulls began harassing it for several minutes. The eagle held its place and the gulls moved on.

On anise hyssop, quite large. Reddish patch on abdomen, it might be too hopeful to say it’s a rusty patch but the red patch looks right.
