Muskrat (Ondatra zibethicus), Washington County, Minnesota
This is standing 30 inches up off the ground. I’ve never seen poison ivy leaves standing that tall in MN before.
Trunk about 8 ft in circumference. Pointless observation since it will soon be bulldozed along with numerous other large old specimens.
Narrow, delicate seedpods. Not sure if A. incarnata, possibly whorled? A hearty population.
